So I thought I'd mention some less traditional ways to enjoy my writing, both Star Trek fan fiction related to the Save Enterprise campaign at TrekUnited.
The first is something called Enterprise: Interactive Season Five. Lots of places have done virtual S5s for Enterprise, this takes a slightly different road by taking the form of a post-based roleplaying game where the players have a very real impact on where the plot goes. I'll be giving each "episode" a general plot and then the course of it and the ending is determined by the actions of the players. People can also submit their own plots if they want. We'll be starting soon so join up at TU (it's absolutely free), you can find a link on the right hand side of this page.
The other is called Dispatches from the Romulan War. It differs from other fan fictions series in that instead of stories it's a series of news reports from the Romulan war. Anyone can submit an article about pretty much anything related to the war and we are accepting articles not only from the human perspective but from Vulcan, Andorian, and Tellarite news agencies as well so it is extremely flexible and open-ended. DRW is now open to submissions so start sending 'em in. You need to be a member of TU to submit, send your articles to me via PM (I'm under the name ensign edwards), click here for guidelines relating to submissions.
